Big clip art by Lou and Chris

For the art-lover with a taste for giant bunnies, circus animals, sexy she-devils, old cars and tattoos… two of our Handcrafters, Lou and Chris, have started a new project called “The Big Clip Art Show” and have their first eye-popping show up at The Grit in Athens, Georgia. Their stuff is viewable here: www.bigclipart.blogspot.com. They’ve taken some of their favorite clip-art images, blown them up and painted them on wood. You know you need a new telephone for your office, why not one that’s 3 feet wide!

In other news, they’re collaborating on a birdhouse to be auctioned off on Saturday, May2 at the Lyndon House Arts Center. This is a benefit for the Athens Montessori School and the Lyndon House.
